Dr. Arthur R. Maret and the love of his life, Irene A. Wilson were born and raised in Southall, Middlesex England. They married in 1960. The family emigrated to the USA in 1966. They are very proud of their four children, Robert (Bob), Ann, Christopher and Bruce. They also have ten grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. This Web Site provides a summary of all the Maret and Wilson ancestors and also highlights the accomplishments of the next generation of the Maret family. Our line of the Maret family originated in Germany under the name “Mahret”. About 1820, the name changed to Maret. Arthur’s great-grandfather emigrated to England about 1860. The Wilson name is very popular around the World. Irene’s family line originated in Yorkshire, and eventually moved to the London area. |
